Yeah, the majority of the characters are based off of real people and their personalities....Shiara's me, Lyssa's Neko, and our friend John's Joano. I have side stories posted up on my account.

Hello, thar! I'm one of Sam's friends, being Alyssa ^__^ I'm kinda the artist for the new comic version of Shiara, and I just figured I'd say hi... so, HI!
Haha, that's okay. I've been told by a lot of people that dA is kinda hard to work, but I can't work Myspace to save my life, so I'd say its a fair exchange. I'm doing fine, how 'bout you?
I kind of have a favor to ask... can you get Sam to send me a picture of you? I know its random, but I need one to design a character based off of, well, you for the new comic thing ^__^ She keeps trying to, but forgets too much haha Thanks!
